7 is better than vista but still it can be a bit slow and crash opening folders of many files or large files.

use linux you will find it much better, it doesnt crash and its free

I wasn't able to get 1000w at the time I bought the machine without having it shipped in. Maybe it's worth a shot.

not how big the power supply, how much power is coming out... due to voltage drop at the wall... 750 or 1000 is watts, not volts,... if the volts are running 100-115 instead of 120 you'll have creepy issues.. that's what happened to my machine... inconsistent volts caused it to lock up and blue screen constantly. get a 'power conditioner' so the machine gets a steady 120v... think that will solve a few issues for you

I bought a HP touchscreen computer that has Win7 on it. I don't really use it for much other than email and sometimes my music, but it seems to work fine.

it doesnt let you move files around in a folder, it automatically snaps them into a grid which is FUCKING ANNOYING!!!!

you know you can customize appearance and order in folders through folder options.

Have you installed any virtual drive software such as Daemon Tools or CloneDrive? Is there an NAS attached?
