I have made relatively normal comments, wondering why a UK city was not on the list & also mentioning that Paris is damn dirty, which would make a worst city.

8yr old? It was only 10 years ago the bulger 8yr old killed another kid down some train tracks in the UK. The bullying in the UK is pretty bad now. If you had children you would agree with this.

Lets not be proud of danger, worst, dirty or degrading. A fact is, in the UK, there was a rise in knife & gun crimes & this should be remembered that the whole world has its awful places.

The stuff that happens in Baghdad & Pakistan. Damn, I have a brotherinlaw in the army & I do not like his tone when I hear him say "Cant wait to kick another few arses".... Im like, "what!". Peacekeeping should be peacekeeping. :2 cents:

I would rather live here in Bournemouth where the sea air is clean, the beaches are probably one of the best in the world & the people are friendly. I have moved from hard or gun, baseball bat, tools & knife conflict areas in the UK & hoping to move to even nicer throughout my life. :thumbsup

idiot....

eh?

And the world has been cursed by the intellectual words of scottybuzz.

The thing I found weird was when I was living is SA I thought it was normal because I was only 2 years old when we left the UK. I was brought up over there so all the violence and crime I thought happened every where. Florida is on the outskirts of Jo'burg and also near to Soweto so we did have a high crime rate.
It was a shock when I saw policemen without guns over here in the UK and I have never seen anybody being shot, sure Iv seen fights over here but nothing like you get over in SA with guns.
You are more than likey to have a gun pulled on you just over a stupid argument in SA rather than just a fist fight

Totally agree with the UK being safer than SA generally. It has a different standard of living.
Guns being pulled in fistycuffs is more so true as guns are not allowed in the UK without a licence. However guns & knives do appear in fights. I can most definatly say that the knives were a major threat to doormen in London a few years back when I was doing that job. :2 cents:

Exactly the point I was saying in my past posts.

Lets be glad of such beautiful places as the worst places can be right around the corner from you also! :2 cents:

Bournemouth beach is full of hot babes in the summer time ..I love it down there apart from you can never park anywhere or get anything to eat because of the long queues in the summer time I think there is a good opertuinty to open up more fast food stalls on the beach front and make $$ from it

Oh sure you do get gun and knife crime over here but for the majority of people living here they never come into contact with that sort of crime. Dont get me wrong SA had and still does have beautifull and a high standard of living in some places and to be honset I would be back over there in a flash if all the violence and crime stopped and you did not have to live behind bars wondering when you are gonna be robed or have your car jacked. Its a shame that the people have fucked up such a beautiful country

haha.. lol... thats the fantastic part of living down here. We usually take the car anyway. But its nice to be able to walk to down the beaches of Bournemouth, Sandbanks & Swanage.
3 years ago, we had a boat, I had to sell her to pay for the pool :( but at the time, we would take the boat around to studland. Naked & suntanning with many a beer :thumbsup

If your ever down this way, hit us up & drop in for a beer :2 cents:

It is a shame for the beauty to go when there are so many nasty stories, especially for holiday makers. When you say about most people do not come into contact with that sort of crime. That was exactly what I was saying to scottybuzz before he took a bad road. I have come into that kind of crime. I do know people that have dealt in guns & have also been on the other side where we had to watch out for knives & guns.

Are you back in the UK now then?

Yeah sure I know where you are comming from

We used to live in Sandbanks years ago before it become a millionares paradise and we normally go down to Bournemouth beach at least once a year. Studland bay is also nice and I had to go and check out the nudest beach there :) but did not go nude myself.

Yeah been back over here for 25 years now but still keep in contact with a lot of my old school friends and some of our neighbours from SA.

Thanks for the offer of a beer Ill take you up on that when we go down there again. We are going to be moving down to Somerset soon so if you ever come down this way I will return the favour

LOL, seems you've spend a lot of time in the country Africa. Haaaa :321GFY

:thumbsup We do go naked on that beach. Many a bukkake, many a scene filmed in the dunes there :winkwink: I think it is the same beach that Coldplay did a track.

Sandbanks is very beautiful & the sand is fantastic! :2 cents: I bet your wishing you kept hold of that property now.

Where is Baltimore on that list

It's all about perspective. I've lived in the country side in the Philippines with some farmer friends. Running water is a beautiful thing to have.

I lived in New Orleans for a year... It wasn't bad.

scratch New Orleans off the list if you are white and don't hang out in the ghettos. About 95% of the murders are black on black, mostly over drugs in the ghetto. The occasional white person who gets shot is when the thugs spill out of the ghetto and some bullets go stray.

MONTREAL = certainly one of the worst in the world !

- Very dirty.
- Very expensive.
- Unfriendly people working in shops and public area.
- Girls are ugly but think they are beauty queen.
- Police everywhere to collect parking money and give tickets if you drive over 40km/hour
but not there if you really need them.
- Corrupted like a banana republic.

And I live there. Luckily moving to germany soon.

Please dont start sending guns down to Southern England, we have had non stop sun for the past week & its been absolutely glorious. :thumbsup

lol... at the moment, I would have said GFY could be the worst place with the animosity in the air.

MaDalton 04-19-2010 05:05 PM

there are many dangerous places in a lot of cities, but i never felt more safe than in the place i live now. i see lots of chicks running around alone at 3 am and drunk and i never heard of any problems. the worst thing i have seen here so far were a couple of drunks who kicked a trashbin.

So yah, I'd add Camden and Gary, IN.
