We found that the art-nude style that we are sells to the visitor much better when it is not highly graphical. Flashy graphics sell to the porn crowd, but the art-nude dudes 'see themselves' as more 'sophisticated', we have to be careful not to offend our generally younger, more sensitive audience.

Fortunately, we are different and our audience is noticing! For the traffic we have, we are doing very well, all we need now is increased quality traffic...thats it! David is still shooting every week for the site, and what makes his work different is that it is current and focuses on American girls in the art-nude style, while giving them a personality and voice on the site for their modeling (like video interviews with every girl). We are simply identifiable with the new generation, friendly, and tangible to our audience, as opposed to historical art-nude sites based completely on nameless eastern europe chicks.

I know it sounds like a sales pitch, but this bit of 'mission statement' stuff is what we have found to describe our paying audience, the active and happy members. One interesting fact I can point out from my sales data is that in the last 18 months we have 0 refunded new sales, and not one negative member cancel reason marked on the CCBill cancel form. (Those that cancel indicate they regularly rotate between sites each month, its a pattern for them)

We are more accessible than Hegre, more realistic than Playboy, and more local than Met-Art. I really want to start an American-based art-nude movement for our younger generation.

What you could improve on other ones its making it more of a personal site look. Now its clean yes, but it doesnt have your personality.

Very nice work! You guys know your niche and what your audience wants because you enjoy the same thing. Definite recipe for sucess. And the fact that you are hands on is why your stuff will appeal more to the true lovers of it than some of the other "glamour" programs that outsource everything they do.
