I have. History Channel had a whole show dedicated to snipers and showed footage.

First lemme explain about US military snipers... They only take shots of opportunity that can change the game completely. Ok first of all I'm not bashing our snipers. So I'm not sure you feel you have to defend them. Call them to do what? We have plan to get out of Iraq. The number of US troops in Iraq gets smaller every day. As far as Afghanistan. Well the Taliban allowed Al Qaeda to flourish. The last thing we need is for them to take over again and let AL qaeda have free reign to plan more 9-11s. actually - and unfortunately - in many cases the answer is "yes"

not the highest Nazis of course, but many high ranked NSDAP members got back into their old jobs shortly after. with the approval of the allieds because without them they could not have run the country

I don't think they care. US Military invaded their country and they are probably just trying to take out as many American soldiers as possible.

Just like if Iraq invaded the US, I'm sure people would be popping off as many Iraqi soldiers as possible.

You may want to dig a bit on the number leaving the country.
There is still alot heading over to replace those leaving, national gaurd here is scheduled to move a bunch of troops out in september heading to iraq. They didn't give the guys an idea of how many but there is alot going.

It was promised a specific number would leave the country but not how many would head back to replace them. Everyone seemed to just assume that we would be leaving for good.

is cool , I was with a sniper unit in iraq back in 06 their snipers wasted 15 marines in 9 months, our snipers wasted 146 I can live with that ratio My buddys who are still in says that the ratio is even higher now
