IMHO, Playboy would be missing out on an opportunity to sell a lot of magazines by not shooting Kate. She's NOT ugly. She may not be centerfold material but even women would buy an issue with Kate Gosselin in it. My guess is she can't do it though because her ex would use it against her to fake interest in obtaining full custody of the kids when he really just wants to pay less in child support.

Doesn't surprise me! Playboy's business is in the shitter because they've made so many bad decisions over the years. It shouldn't surprise anyone that they'd not pursue one of the most famous reality stars in the world right now.
Whether you like her or not, the fact is that she's got millions of admirers & fans and an issue with her naked in it would probably sell like hotcakes. Plus it would bring an amazing amount of attention to Playboy. Hef doesn't know who she is because he's an old decrepit millionaire who doesn't keep up with reality TV. If he would start making decisions based on what's good for his readership and his shareholders...instead of what's good for him, Playboy would probably be in a better place right now IMO.Comment

I believe I read somewhere that she rejected a $400,000 offer from Playboy last year - now it looks as though Playboy is backtracking for some publicity. I agree with Dean - She is not Centrefold material but if she were to pose her issue would be one of the biggest sellers in history. Look at what she has done for the ratings of Dancing with the Stars.Comment

God help me but I'm a Kate Gosselin fan. I caught part of an episode when the babies were small. It showed them in the garage and one after another was screaming or crying, or falling and they ALL wanted attention. She talked about how stressed she was,and that she had all this stuff to do and then Jon came home. Walked in the garage and she said something like "I am going crazy, been a rough day can you watch the kids for 15 minutes while I jump in the shower" or something like that. He looked at her and said something like "Kate, I worked all day" and walked into the house.
That look on her face I recognized and from there on I was a fan. She is tireless in her efforts to succeed and give her kids a good life. She is a powerhouse. Is she perfect? Nope Can she be a complete bitch sometimes? Hell yeah! I am sure I can't be the only one saw Jon being an ass all of the time. Jon can you please do this? and he does the opposite or pretends not to hear her. Jon, please, trying to get the kids fed can you please......? and he would roll his eyes. Jon didn't turn into an ass after he left her, he was ALWAYS an ass. Shows like that always try to show things in a certain slant. She played hyper bitch, he played "poor yelled at guy".
I highly doubt she would ever do it, but if Playboy was smart, they would try to get her even for a lingerie type shoot. It would sellComment

That article is retarded, kind of hard for these celebrities to be "rejected" when they never tried to get into playboy...
It's like plastering a headline called "Hugh Hefner REJECTED from Stev0's birthday party!" then quoting me saying "hah, no way... I can't see that old fucker getting in here anytime soon".
