Going bald and want some advice. I can't shave it since my ears are big and head shape is damn fugly. So, hair restoration is my only option. I want to know if there is anything new in transplants? New methods or technology?

do transplants even work? dont you have to shave your head for 1 year first with scabs showing...

and then doesnt just restore some if your hair? i was looking online at some before and after and didntsee that much improvement and the few that did look real good, not sure if they are REAL or FAKE.

and from what i hear, it will cost like 20-30K over 2 years

Don't do it. You will WEAR A FULL SCAR from EAR TO EAR in your neck for the rest of your life. And it's irreversible. Armani or any other doctor won't tell you that.

After the HT, you will need to be on PROPECIA and Maybe Rogaine to keep what you still got. Being on PROPECIA for the rest of your life is not exactly a great idea.

BTW, in the long run, you will get bald anyways, even with a HT. I have seen a lot of people where transplant don't work, and they have to shave it off to avoid looking like androids, and they have no chance but to wear a SCAR from ear to ear.

After all, you don't need a full head of hair to get laid. It's all about attitude.

But if you really want to do it, try to do some research, it's your body and your health.

Just my two cents.

Are you serious? I've heard of some transplants not taking, but in the long run ALL transplants fail from old age anyway? I've seen so many good results, though. Is there a test to determine if your body will reject the transplant before hand?
