Damn I love this city! This is my 3rd time here and it is clean and still evolving with new buildings everywhere. I am staying at the Biltmore which is west of downtown. If you play golf, I highly recommend it. Going to have dinner on the beach any recommendations not over the top expensive?

I've been going to Miami beach since the late 60s and watched it change dramatically.
One of my favorite memories was walking out on the pier that used to be near the inlet at South beach. It was a Sunday morning and I passed a man in his 40s, dressed in a suit like he had just come from church except it was a tad bit dirty.
He was strolling along with a cup of coffee in his hand and talking to the big dead fish he had draped over his shoulder. He was having a pleasant conversation with it and was just as happy as could be.
Miami Beach is a much different place now and I'm glad I got to experience it all.Comment

Osteria Del Teatro is FUCKING GOOD ITALIAN FOOD. Great place to take a date. It has been there forever. Our last waiter we had there was actually Italian which of course makes the food taste even better.

In south beach, if you like Steak, there is a great place called Meat Market, on Lincoln Road. Not too expensive, great food, and a fun crowd as the night get's later...

Awesome, awesome!!! I did the same thing, a shitload long time ago, in Thailand, at The Oriental hotel. $500 a night (which was more like double or triple that now) for two nights. Still remember it twenty years on or so so i guess it was worth it.
