Wikileaks claims to have obtained and decrypted video that shows US occupying forces in an Apache helicopter intentionally firing on a dozen civilians in Baghdad, including journalists working for the Reuters news organization: 22-year-old Reuters photographer, Namir Noor-Eldeen, and his driver, Saeed Chmagh, 40.

Terrible things happen in war, good people are pushed to the brink and do terrible things. It's not their fault, but that's how it is. A generation is lost to the violence and the lasting effects of growing up in a war zone. Soldiers and their families deal with the effects for decades after they come home.

The effects of one year of war can last for a hundred years.

Why politicians think that you can have a "clean" war is beyond me. With such dire consequences for everyone involved, a civilized society should only consider war as last resort.

At 3:40 there are two guys at the top, one clearly has a gun and one clearly has a rpg. Earlier in the vid when one guy was saying "he definitely has a weapon" while the gunner was looking at the dude with the camera (his view), and the pilot was talking. If your a reporter, why hang with dudes in broad daylight that are strutting around with guns?

The rules are very clear about when to engage and when not to.. If you see ANY weapons then kill them.. Why would a so called photog be hanging out with guys with weapons?

I shot a group in a car going down a road after curfew, it turned out to be 4 women and a 15 yr boy... They were in the wrong place at the wrong time.. Does it bother me? NO I could care less about them... We used to sit and wait for them to break curfew and shoot them for sport... When we would go into a house in the middle of the night if there were ANY weapons found someone was getting shot... I shot a Imam after he and 3 of his now dead buddies was caught with 3 IED's and an AK.. he ran, I just laughed and shot the fucker in the back of the head... I used to carry a couple extra AK's in my hummer just in case there was a "mistake" just drop it down next to the dead body, take a few pics, case closed, move on to the next soon to be dead Iraqi...

If you have ever picked up your buddies with their guts blown out from an IED then you would understand.. I would do it all over again if I had to...! (Iraq 2004 to 2006)

Terrible things happen in war, good people are pushed to the brink and do terrible things. It's not their fault, but that's how it is. A generation is lost to the violence and the lasting effects of growing up in a war zone. Soldiers and their families deal with the effects for decades after they come home. The effects of one year of war can last for a hundred years. Why politicians think that you can have a "clean" war is beyond me. Earlier in the vid when one guy was saying "he definitely has a weapon" while the gunner was looking at the dude with the camera (his view), and the pilot was talking. I would guess that most of you morons have never been to Iraq... The rules are very clear about when to engage and when not to.. If you see ANY weapons then kill them.. Why would a so called photog be hanging out with guys with weapons? I shot a group in a car going down a road after curfew, it turned out to be 4 women and a 15 yr boy... They were in the wrong place at the wrong time.. Does it bother me? NO I could care less about them... We used to sit and wait for them to break curfew and shoot them for sport... When we would go into a house in the middle of the night if there were ANY weapons found someone was getting shot... I shot a Imam after he and 3 of his now dead buddies was caught with 3 IED's and an AK.. he ran, I just laughed and shot the fucker in the back of the head... I used to carry a couple extra AK's in my hummer just in case there was a "mistake" just drop it down next to the dead body, take a few pics, case closed, move on to the next soon to be dead Iraqi... If you have ever picked up your buddies with their guts blown out from an IED then you would understand.. I would do it all over again if I had to...! (Iraq 2004 to 2006)

Our boys are over their working with iraqi forces even now, teaching them how to handle things and the iraqis thank them, and as for killing innocent kids, I can only go by what I seen semi personally and its the military risking their lives to give those kids food and water, blankets and supplies. Them mother fuckers over there could care less about those kids and use them as human shields all the time against American forces. Fuck a RPG try a kid strapped with a G walking up to a group of US military personnel and blow them up along with those innocent kids. I am sure most people was singing another tune when our towers got hit but yet the Americans are the pieces of shit.
