    YH.COM domain stolen

    And once again, from Godaddy ;). In this case I wouldn't blame godaddy, I would blame dumb owner.

    It's just valuable domain name and it attracts thiefs.
    If you have really valuable domains or domains with huge traffic, I'd suggest you to use MAXlock with "human contact" from moniker during transfer to achieve maximum security.

        It is not GoDaddy's fault. If you want to blame anyone blame the domain owner who let his gmail email acct get compromised and also for not protecting his domain properly. You can have domains set to not be transferred at GoDaddy without human contact too.

            What would "human contact" do? The person stealing it could just bullshit the rep on the phone just as easilly

              Assuming the person doing the compromising changed all phone numbers to his own inside of that particular account already maybe.

                The main problem in such cases is that people use same password for e-mail and same to discussion boards. So any discussion board admin see e-mail/password combinations and simple script can test all e-mails if combination MATCH same as at forum.
