Is Barton Fink one of the greatest movies ever?

Serious question. I'm working on a list of my favorite movies and wondering if I should add BARTON FINK. Here is my list, not in order and missing a lot, so far:

    Monsters Ball
    True Romance
    Scarface
    Road Warrior
    Straw Dogs
    The Warriors
One Flew Over The Cuckoo?s Nest
    Requiem For A Dream
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
    Leaving Las Vegas
    Bad Lieutenant
    The Matrix
    Goodfellas
    The Godfather
    Apocalypse Now
    Platoon
    Full Metal Jacket
    Clock Work Orange
    Silence Of The Lambs
    Omega Man
    Rollerball
    The Exorcist
    A Boy And His Dog
    The Good Sheppard
    Meet Joe Black
    Forrest Gump
    Raising Arizona
    White Oleander
    Mystic River
    Unforgiven
    Ordinary People
    Being John Malkeovich

Feel free to remind me of something I might have missed. I missed a lot and some things probably shouldn't be there. Not ordering just yet. Some are just for kicks.

No... the Coen brothers have done better movies than Barton Fink.

They are playing the shit out of them this week on cable, RAISING ARIZONA, FARGO etc. Both those are better I agree. Not sure how I feel about NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, but they stuck to the novel. Loved BLOOD SIMPLE, one of their first.

I like it but not sure if I would put it on my best ever list.

Lynch! Do I have BLUE VELVET on that list. That should be on that list! Also ROLLERBALL is the original of course. And I should probably add SYNDOCHE, NY

I loved Barton Fink, but I think there's other movies in their canon that deserve more attention -- namely Oh, Brother!
