              I have been following their cases ever since I first saw the Paradise Lost movies. This story is amazing proof of how our justice system needs to be changed. The same people that reside over a trial should never be in charge of deciding if mistakes were made at that trial and a re-trial should take place. And judges should never be elected officials who are worried about making the public happy so they can keep their jobs.

              There is clearly enough evidence in this case to show that these three most likely had nothing to do with this. It is a sad story all around.

                  My cousin was actually one of the directors of those movies ;) I had formulated an opinion on their innocence when I was watching the dailies back in 1994.

                  Can't fuckin believe these guys have been in prison for more than 1/2 their lives now

                          I live in Jonesboro where the trials take place and I have been to several of them.

                          This place is so backwards. If Judge Burnette ever gives them another trial I would be more than shocked. He just can not admit he was wrong . He is an old stubborned fucker.

                          What drives me more than crazy is that he SLEPT DURING the trial..

                              Yep. He slept during the trial. That knife shows up with blood from one of the kids on it. There are the bite marks on the kids that don't match any of the three that are in jail and plenty of other stuff. You would think anyone with any common sense would realize that there is at least enough evidence to go back and look at the case again.

                              It really is crazy. I guess one of the problems with living in a small town is that getting justice there might be difficult.
