southern living... on the way to beach i passed by a civil war re-enactment and decided to shoot some video there. basically a hardcore redneck gathering so i stuck out in the crowd just a wee little bit like usual...

in the end the south lost (again). i'm gonna shoot an IR pickup scene at this park and chop in some of the civil war footage

when I lived in Jacksonville FL the racists that I knew and worked with were very overt about it and it didn't matter who was around. I worked for a pipe laying crew (yeah ha..ha, municipal water supply) we had 3 white guys, the foreman, asst foreman and me and those 2 guys had klan stickers and shit on their trucks. We had 7 black guys on the crew too. I had to play middle man between the crew and the foremen... PITA
