Whats your location? I know in Montreal the local supermarket ones work for domains/hosting and for 99 percent of sites accepting visa. ( not sure for adult member sites as I have never tried them but for mainstream they do.)

Let's say you buy a mastercard. You can pay $50 to it, and then you will have a mastercard that is prepaid with $50.

Would this be a virtual credit card? I think it would just be a usual credit card.

Yes its a prepaid credit card that can be used in stores and online.(virtual)

The thing with some cards though is that when used online a few billing corps check the card against a billing address and that address wouldnt exsist (and get rejected)...but the one I was given from my local store lets you enter such details so I assume thats why it works on more online sites ( or so it seems)
