Dell Minis, what do you love or hate about them?

I just got my first one.
I hate that it's kind of slow, with only 1 Gig of RAM since there is no upgrade option in the Dell website.
I also hate that it came with McAfee and I had to delete it to get it to work properly (browsers were crashing before removing it).

    I LOVE:
how easily it fits in my purse
how easily it connects to any available wireless network

how about you, what's your experience so far?

I hate that it's Dell. I bought an MSI Wind back when they first came out and love it. It gets more use than my POS Macbook.
    I like pie.

I love and have loved all mine.

The one I carry around now has a 10 inch screen, 2 gig of ram and runs OSX.

Cost me $300 and as mentioned above, get's more use than my Macbook...which needs another fucking power supply replacement @ $100 - for the third fucking time!

Also, you can hit Staples or even Walmart and they'll have the proper RAM for you to upgrade. No shit, Walmart and Target both carry it.

I also have one of these little Dell Zino's hooked up to my main TV. It's a kickass little machine, that again cost peanuts...$300.

candyflip: about 6 years ago we got a check in the mail from HP, it was some sort of reimbursement because one of their laptops had a faulty power supply entrance thinguie. It wasn't much money, like $150 or so, but it certainly paid back for when we finally had to have ours fixed. You may want to contact Mac, they may have something like that.
