IMHO, she should have just kept her mouth shut and talked to the teacher after class, like the teacher advised. When the cops got there she made her comment, then wrestled with the cops. She could have been more mature about the situation for sure, she wasn't, she got arrested.

She had it coming. Challenging the cops as soon as they walk in was a streak of brilliance. These cops know that she gets one chance to come quietly. If allowed a second chance she believes she is in charge. I believe the words "You gunna have to carry me the fuck out'a here cuz I aint goin nowhere" sealed the outcome for her.
