I actually never liked that song until I saw the version below with his new strangely attractive bassist. I watched it several more times and ended up liking it. So yeah it's pretty good.

Jeff Beck is a great guitarist, but sometimes his musical choices veer towards the easy listening end of the spectrum. His version of Curtis Mayfield's 'People Get Ready' is amazing, as is his work on Stevie Wonder's 'Talking Book' album. But for me this is kinda... Kenny G.

This is probably the greatest guitar solo ever played by a musician.

That surely has to qualify as the dumbest statement of all time.

Goddamn everything about Jeff Beck's guitar playing is just absolutely awesome. Everything from tone to note choice to vibrato to dexterity...Ever since I heard "Blow By Blow" and took a stab at playing "Freeway Jam" 30 years ago I've admired him.

He's one of those guys that the guitar leaves the realm of being an instrument and is a natural extension of his own body.

She has a great sound, is the guy on drums Vinnie Collaiuta? Seems like it must be him.

I never got to listen to much from him, looking forward to explore his discography.

Yeah I know those, Eric Johnson is pretty cool, I like Steve too, although not like his manic supporters, but he's a great showman and does a good job at keeping guitar popular.

Well all I can say that it's Eddie Van Halen Love Van Halen, what would be 80's without Van Halen.

Bowing down, couldn't say that better.

He's gonna be playing in Vienna in the summer so I might check it out.

He can make his Strat and Les Paul sing too! I saw him with Jan Hamer at the Greek Theater in Berkley in '81 amazing show. What's amazing about Beck is he doesn't use a pick.

I had the pleasure of seeing Jeff Beck in concert last month with Eric Clapton. Amazing show. Although I found their setlists too short, Beck did some cool songs. Big Block and a cover of the Beatles "A Day in the Life" were the highlights for me. Beck did a 45 minute set, then Clapton did a 45 minute set and then they did 45 minutes together. It was very cool watching them play together. I especially liked the cover of "I Wanna Take you Higher" that they did.
