i usually use escrow.com, but this time selling domain through SEDO and they have their own escrow service.

is it safe to use? anyone ever had problems?

the person you buy the domain is responsible for providing the invoice, not sedo. i bought a domain recently and i couldn't get an invoice out of the person selling the domain my repeated requests were ignored, but sedo transfered him the money anyway and said it wasn't their problem, which is pretty stupid. apart from that i've not had any problems.

the only thing i'm not sure is how legit is their proxy bidding, anyone know?

sedo is def safe and as erectmedia mentioned its not as fast as escrow

the main thing is once it starts to call sedo by phone or else your looking at 3+ weeks
