    Public company - question

If I show my financial statements to the public, would it make it easier to get more customers and more profits?

If my company is successful, more people will want to do business with it, right?

The term "Public Company" refers to a company who's shares are publicly traded on some sort of exchange, with a listed bid and ask price for the shares.

A private company showing financial statements is unusual. I'd think anyone wanting to do business with you would be more likely to check referrals or testimonials from customers.

This is the main issue - to try to see who is successful and who is not.
