    I'm seeing GN'R tonight!

    I know this ain't GN'R but just Axl and a few bozos but I just can't help being really excited about it. To hear all those classic songs sang by a man who rock my world 20 years ago is just priceless to me. I never saw GN'R back in the day btw.

    50.000 people are going to be there tomorrow so it's gonna be Huge, one thing to bear in mind though is not to piss Axl off, check out what happened in Brasil at the beginning of the show when someone throw a plastic bottle filled with water at him!

                              I saw him Jan 31st and he put on a good show. He can still sing. I even found the new songs to sound better live, especially "this i love" when axl can pull off the difficult vocals in it. The guys he has in the band now aren't bad, nothing great but they get the job done. They had Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys come out and do one of his songs which was pretty fun. I'll probably check out Slash when he goes on tour too.

                                              If they were smart, they'd put their bullshit aside from years ago and all get back together and do a huge tour with the original lineup and really rake in the money. I suppose Steve Adler is pretty fucked up nowadays, I wonder if he could even drum any more.

                                                  He hasn't cancelled any shows this tour...although he does tend to start about 2-3 hours later than scheduled. He didn't go on until almost midnight for the Ottawa show.

                                                                  Steve Adler is a great drummer and still rockin' the sticks in his own band. He's got a big following of fans who love his style. Me for one.

                                                                      I would love to see someone make a documentary about Axl Rose focusing on his "lost years". Call it "The making of Chinese Democracy" ;)

                                                                      Like WTF happened from G N' R to present?! He was doing all kinds of weird shit, consulting with psychics and crystal healers, then the plastic surgery and the odd public appearances. I'm not even trying to be critical, I'm just curious. That's gotta be a wild fucking ride. He went from the top of the heap to the bottom and most of his exile was self imposed.

                                                                          Axl said recently that as sad or painful that it might be he and Slash will never be together again and that's just how it is. So forget about seeing the old GN'R together again. He also said that maybe and just maybe he might do something with Duff perhaps or Matt. But he and Slash is out of the question.

                                                                              Read the book about G'n'R some time ago (Not the Slash auto biography) and I'm afraid he's a bit paranoid about this.

                                                                              Like the whole book doesn't have almost any citations or interviews with anyone directly related to the band, because as far as Axl owns the whole G'n'R name and etc. seems they're all afraid of getting sued.

                                                                                          He might be sick. His behavior has never been what one would call "stable", I wouldn't be surprised if a touch of mental illness might be in play here.

                                                                                                  I saw the show last month in Montreal and it was worth it. Axl is older, fatter, his voice isn't what it used to be and had to take many short trips backstage for some odd reason but he put on a 3 hour show.

                                                                                                  The audience will make the show, they were going mental in Montreal and that made for an incredible show.

                                                                                                  His lead guitarist played with Nikki Sixx and contributed on the new Crue album, he's actually pretty good

                                                                                                                                              OK, took awhile but I've finally managed to update some of the pics about the show. It was just incredible, Axl is an excellent frontman and the band is just great, DJ Ashba is a virtuoso, I can't be happier about it. Besides, Sebastian Bach and his band really rocked the night, it was amazing, most of the classics were there. Welcome To The Jungle, It's So Easy, Nightrain, Mr. Brownstone, Paradise City, Sweet Child O' Mine, Rocket Queen (one of my favorites), Patience, Live and let Die, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, etc, etc.
