Feds Impersonating Friends to gain Access to Personal Accounts
Tonight's local Fox News just reported that the Feds are soliciting to become Facebook friends or Twitter buddies using known names of your associates in order to gain intelligence for their investigations.
If you don't have outside communications with the individual that is really your friend, you will never know that you are chatting up a Federal agent who is gathering intelligence on you by posing as one of your existing friends. Just goes to show that "you never really know who your friends are."  |
