Hmmm, being a healthy single male might be a little different than providing and paying for health care for a family but I only pay about $100 a month for almost top level health coverage, not that big a deal.
& If you are poor and on the street and get hit by a car, guess what? You still go to the hospital so its not like you have no security from health concerns.
So to wrap up my opinion, if you have a big screen tv or a nice car, there is no reason why you don't have health care other than you decided it wasn't as important as a new tv. This is America where you have the right to decide between that $1200 plasma tv in your living room and health insurance, nobody should force you to choose one or the other, just get some common sense. My

If you ever get diabetes, cancer or another fucking awful disease and you have to test your health insurance, you might have a different opinion. You might be better off with the big screen tv. You are forced to do lots of things already. Like pay for the roads you drive on. Pay for all those people who keep you safe when they inspect the elevators you ride on. The list goes on and on.Hmmm, being a healthy single male might be a little different than providing and paying for health care for a family but I only pay about $100 a month for almost top level health coverage, not that big a deal.

Never had any issues, at one point they though I had some serious blood disorder and I just kept with my $20 copays and eventually they realized it was nothing after 6 months of tests and other BS. They did exactly what they were there for. Sure, it is scary how they knock some people off the insurance if they get cancer or something etc etc but that can be taken care of with a simple law, not some crazy, dramatic, health care ice capade extravaganza. LOL
And sorry, but anyone who would opt for a new tv over even basic health care shouldn't bitch about how they cannot afford health care, that just sounds sooo ridiculous. My health is more important than HD tv lol.Last edited by brentbacardi; 03-21-2010, 04:26 PM.Go Fuck Yourself!

To pay for the changes, the legislation includes more than $400 billion in higher taxes over a decade, roughly half of it from a new Medicare payroll tax on individuals with incomes over $200,000 and couples over $250,000. A new excise tax on high-cost insurance policies was significantly scaled back in deference to complaints from organized labor.
In addition, the bills cut more than $500 billion from planned payments to hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and other providers that treat Medicare patients. An estimated $200 billion would reduce planned subsidies to insurance companies that offer a private alternative to traditional Medicare.
The insurance industry warned that seniors would face sharply higher premiums as a result, and the Congressional Budget Office said many would return to traditional Medicare as a result.
The subsidies are higher than those for seniors on traditional Medicare, a difference that critics complain is wasteful, but insurance industry officials argue goes into expanded benefits.

Oh yeah. We're all gonna die. Obama just wants to fuck the country and put it in the crapper. Here's the deal. This entire health care bill could have been paid for by the cost of the war in Iraq. Actually could have been paid for with LESS THAN HALF THE MONEY LOST by giving the top 2% of the country a tax break.
8 years of douchebaggery finally coming to an end. What a difference an intelligent person in the White House can make!Comment
