Looking more into the webcam side of the business and I am wondering what percentage webcam models are typically paid out? Any quality feedback is appreciated.

I ve tried to explain to performers this point over and over again....doesnt matter if its 70 percent or 20 percent its about how many surfers visit and what percentage are spenders......
I see new sites offering 60 percent and then the girl does $300 of privates in a week compared to say a more established site offering 20 percent and the girl having sales of $3,000 a week.
From my experience the big established ones that are probably the ones to go for offer 25-30 percent (approx)Last edited by Domain Diva; 03-16-2010, 06:13 PM.Comment

we split all revenue 50/50 with our producers.
If the person spending the money on the producer has been referred by the same producers rev share link, she'll make another 25% on top of that.
So 75% total.Danny B

if a cam site is paying 50% plus to performers AND has a webmaster affiliate program you can bank on one thing - affiliates are getting shaved. do the math.
50% to performers, 25-30% to affiliates, 10% credit card processing, more if the site is using third party processors, overhead - there's nothing left for the cam site. i know there's that WebsFinest site where girls make almost all of what they bring in - no affiliate program, the owner must be doing it as a sideline cuz it just doesn't seem worth it to make 10% unless the girls are bringing in a lot of money. site seems very quiet the times i've checked it out.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!Comment

Camz pays 50 percent to performers that also do one hour shows on Amateurcamz. I believe you can buy Amateurcams feeds for your websites. So they are paying the performers well, not shaving affiliates, and still making money.Comment

It can depend on all kinds of things. The best payout is the payout that works best for you.
If you're going to run your own cam site, here's a few things to consider, cost-wise:
Percentage to Chat model
Percentage to Billing Provider
Percentage to Affiliate
Percentage to yourself.
Other: Marketing costs, etc.
Yes you can pay your chat models 60 or 70%, but your risks are sky-high and your ROI can be zilch.
Try this: Figure out your costs as best as possible and then look for chat models that are willing to work with you to help your business grow. Be prepared to shuffle percentages around, and you should be able to come up with something that works for you.Comment
