What do you think are the best converting FHG's?

We have been looking at our FHGs and the designs etc and which ones convert well, and am looking for suggestions from others as to what they think makes a good FHG?

I am not talking about our ones, but those you either have for your own sites or from affiliates that you think convert well.

Do you think a heavily designed one converts better over a plain and simple one?

We will be running some tests on this ourselves but always looking for feedback from others

    Cheers

    Paul.

i guess ultimately its the content of the fhg that will get the surfers attention but i always do well with fhg's with nice clear text links to join the site

Content is king, and the word "join" should not be on it.

No matter what I'm trying to sell... porn or mainstream - I've always had success with a clear, strong call to action.
