    Thats it - after 13 years I am dumping the POS ICQ!

    What could have been, and once was, the best IM ever if AOL wouldnt have fucked it up has gone to shit. Imagine ICQ had voicecalls and all the other stuff they have nowadays in MFing 1999!!! Anyway I am dumping it - I only get this russian spam shit all day long and I am fed up. Too fucking bad I have to tell ppl to hit me up on msn or yim

                      Xbiz.net should just get one of those myspace/facebook chat thingy but one that saves history and we can all just use that shit. I don't even hardly ever fire up ICQ anymore unless I need it for that moment then I sign right of when I'm done. I like emails instead.

                          No shit, my shit blows up all hours of the night with adds from "Milko" and "Mikah" and shit with russian in the text boxes... I only talk to like 2 people on ICQ and didn't even sign up an account until I started posting here - this is the only place my icq number is listed too.

                          Just sucks because I like the actual messanger but damn is it annoying having 2-3 adds an hour from spam.

                                  You people who stay logged in 24/7 are retarded. I log into ICq maybe once a day, pick up messages, reply back and log out.... no spam, no issues.... ever. I also don't post my ICQ everywhere either... so YMMV.

                                                                  Pretty sure the only reason people still use ICQ in this industry is so they can use the ol' "What, you asked me for something a week ago and i didn't do it yet? My ICQ's been fucking up alot, i must not have got your message!" excuse. I've always had to deal with situations like that from people who use ICQ in porn. You see people posting about it here or there all of the time. Yet people still use it? I'm 100% convinced people only use ICQ so they have an excuse to be lazy fucks. I personally do not and don't see why anyone would.
