Corey Haim Found Dead

I kinda liked the guy.
Actor Corey Haim died this morning of an apparent overdose -- possibly accidental -- according to LAPD. He was 38.

Police tell us they were called to St. Joseph's hospital in Burbank, CA shortly before 4AM PT to investigate.

Haim shot to fame in the 80s -- when he co-starred in a number of films, including "The Lost Boys," with Corey Feldman.

I did an event with him a little over a year ago, he was completely fucked up the whole time. Kinda felt bad for the guy, his mother was with him and she was a massive enabler. On to of that "fans" were keeping him supplied w/ anything he could want. It really struck me as fucked, feeding someone pills who clearly has a problem just so you could say you hung out w/ that person. I'm sure it's hard enough to shake that shit on your own, can't imgine trying to be clean with people giving it to you when you go out in public.

He and the other Corey had a reality show a year or so ago. They argued one episode about someone that had sexually abused them and how Feldman knew beforehand I believe. The celebrity blogs all said it was about Michael Jackson and how he abused them both with the other Corey never telling Haim beforehand. They denied it after with the other Corey denying it was Michael. But the other Corey is a douchebag.

I remember that. Haim was saying he felt betrayed because he felt like Feldman introduced him to this adult male who proceeded to sexualy abuse him, and then Feldman kind of left him hanging, never apologizing, never wanting to talk about it.

Yeah, that show definitely seemed scripted. Only thing to keep it going was when they had drama between them. One part that seemed real though was when they began to film the lost boy sequel and on the first day Haim seemed completely high on meds and couldn't even say his lines.

I don't know the entire background on his drug abuse, but from what I gathered in recent articles, it wasn't prescription drugs he was abusing.
