                                            it could be 1 unique to a sale, it could be 1000 uniques to a sale, it all depends on the variants, source of traffic, if they are looking for the niche, some people convert at 1:10 some at 1:10,000 it all depends, you cant judge each bit of traffic against another since they are both different.

If I read what you're asking correctly you want to know on average how many visitors to a freesite turn into a sale. The answers would vary so greatly that you'll never be able to get usable information. Even from honest answers.

                                                    Different freesites vary so much on the quality of visitors (blogs, splogs, tgps, mgps, link lists, tubes, review sites, etc, etc). Different quality of visitors on a site by site basis, based on the site its self.
