I think it works better to keep the hair you have. If you already bald I am not sure.

it works. takes about 6mo to kick in but, get proscar. they come in 5miligram tablets and same drug finasteride but, way cheaper. Get a pill cutter from your pharmacy. you normally get 1 mil dose per day for baldness but i cut the proscar 5mil tablets into 4. to hard to cut into 5. Anyway you'll start seeing really thin hairs come in where you didn't have any hair before and my crown is much thicker than it was 3 years ago. as for sex it supposedly decreases your labido but, maybe I had enough for 2 people. I haven't noticed. Anyway it works to keep your hair and make whats left a little more but, I'm sure it varies greatly.

I would not risk my life with Propecia. Yes, it works to block DHT, but you risk your health for long term collateral effects. Propecia is very new, started in late 90's...

There are many cases where Propecia users develop a more aggressive CANCER prostate. Yes I know, GLAXO or MERCK spend 1000's millions and million of dollars each year to marketing his products...

I recommend you to use Rogaine... Safer and very effective. Use it alng with Ketoconazol and you will keep your hair for long time.. Even though you are genetically predisposed to lose hair.

No need to risk your life with Propecia... If you start taking Propecia you must take it FOR LIFE... Its no such thing as taking it for 1 year and quitting...

          Your choice.
