Ideas for a nightclub ? What features did you like best ?

looks like a badass club. If i am ever in Montreal, ill do the hour drive to check it out

I'm all about bright clubs... Opera in Montreal comes to mind in that regard. I want to see everyone, hands down. That's a night out. I also prefer to party in clubs with levels for the same reason. I want to see as many people as possible so that I can find the right people to party with... or so they can find me.

Coco Bongo in Play Del Carmen was prob the best party place I was ever at, not to mention the show. It was so well designed. I've spent nights trying to figure out how to bring that concept to Montreal. Still missing a few pieces to that puzzle... such as how to get Canadians pissed on $60, have a full troupe of performers, be able to clean up after they shoot all that crap all over the bar every night and still turn a profit. :0)

Think we can dig a tunnel under the US and import cheap Mexican labour??

i cant remember the name, in Berlin has a very ludicrus stict entry policy and wont allow 50%~ in. yet the best rated one in the world.

Try looking at some of the lighting effects used in sensation dance events, they are crazy, some of the best i have seen.

Also an idea is you could do a day club like fuse in london or space in ibizia for those who want to continue the party during the day. Obviously licenses for that could be quite difficult.

Why can't they have self serve "shot stations" by now anyway? I can check out my own groceries but can't swipe my card and order 5 shots in 2 seconds from a machine? No standing at the bar waiting, no tips to waitresses, CRUNK.

Because you will call your bank in the morning telling them you didn't make the other 4 shot charges. That there should have only been 1 on there.

The bartenders regulate how much you drink and it's their responsibility to make sure you haven't had too much. There are spotters that watch for this stuff.

It works both ways tho, that reminds me of the last situation when I went out. I order two crown and cokes and then switch to bottles of beer which I had two. I ask for my check and she brings me a generic slip saying Misc total $38.xx I just looked at her and said seriously? I said let me see what you have me down for. She returns and says I have you down for two crown and cokes from me and two from the other waitress then two beers from me again. Did she really think I was that lit from that small amount of alcohol? I asked if she mistakenly made the drinks doubles or something and she said no that I drank 4 mixed drinks before switching to beers. This is exactly why I hate going out I am already overpaying for drinks in most cases then over and over people try to pull this shit. I give props to the legit business owners but it is so hard to keep a watch on all the employees (if the owners even care). What does this girl gain by this? overcharge me almost 15 dollars to get 15% of that as a tip? I will now punish all waitresses by making them ring out every drink order separately.

(sorry not directing this to you specifically, I'm just saying I would spend more or be less careful of my spending if I could order a round for me and friends from a vending type machine or some other automated system)

I totally understand what you mean. That should not happen and if it does, you need to call the manager and she needs to be on notice. Unless the owners are shady like that. Then you never go back to that bar.

I had an invention idea to do something like you wanted for Hotel Pool Sides. All on computers and you order it, pay it and they just bring it.

But it's on my list of ideas.

If anyone can execute it I am sure you are the guy! Maybe a provider of the service to others would be the best route. I have a few more specific things you could do with the concept. You can certainly thank me with a 1% commission when it takes off
