Tsunami Advisory in Effect for California's Coast
I would go to higher land if I were along the coast. Some reports are coming in that the tsunami is traveling over 100mph with heights reaching over 10 feet.

The forecasted arrival time for Crescent City is 1:46 p.m. PST Saturday, however tsunamis can be dangerous for many hours after arrival, and the initial wave is not necessarily the largest, the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center says. A tsunami advisory means that a tsunami capable of producing strong currents or waves dangerous to persons in or very near the water is expected; however, significant, widespread inundation is not expected for areas under an advisory. Currents may be hazardous to swimmers, boats, and coastal structures and may continue for several hours after the initial wave arrival. A 9.5-magnitude earthquake in Chile on May 22,1960, generated a tsunami that caused flooding in coastal areas of Crescent City.
