In the current state of the way the current health system works, pre-existing conditions a health insurance company can refuse you.

Obama's health care reform also has a lot of hole with pre-existing conditions. The burden of the health insurance companies to comply and accept a person with a pre-condition fucks up their bottom line...money.


"Medicare for all" would solve a lot of problems and will leave holes that would need to be batched state by state. The 35% overhead the tax payers pick up currently would be reduce to 1.5%.

The math is clear even if we pick up 10 percent of the cost it would still be less than the current system.

I believe the Republicans suggestion to scale it down and take it one step at a time is a better method. We can't afford muuch of anything right now, and I don't see how it's only 10% of the current system, but I'm not doing the math. The hard fact is that there can't be a legitimate restructuring of the health care system at ALL until we have stopped the astronomical deficit spending and started producing again.

Be happy that people like me and others, support a socialist health care type system. Even though it would be better to rid you from the gene pool, and probably cheaper, I do support you having a chance at some mental help first. That said the one thing it might do is speed things up. If there are fewer people getting tests that they don't need it will open those machines up for those that do need them.

The fact is we are in a crazy spiral in deficit. I have notice that both parties haven't even said anything about the deficit. Nonetheless, making Medicare for all would bring down the deficit(too many links to source). The transition to Medicare "for all" would require America to pull out of all wars. Stop donating money and start allocating money to states in crisis. Trim down government starting from the top all the way down to the local level. The is no need for "Homeland Security", the FBI and other agencies have always kept us safe.

I think America should enter a time of isolation. Tax the shit out of foreign products and make it lucrative for companies to open up shop in America.

There is a lot of shit that can bring down the deficit but Medicare would not add to it.

I am not sure what side you fall on but neither party are for us. To me it is as plain as day, the big corporation buy politicians and offer them the American dream with a lucrative job.

The rest of us don't have that luxury.
