:2cents Pope Tells Irish Bishops to Show Courage Over 'Heinous' Pedophilia Scandals

After the scandals in the USA, you think the Catholic Church would take a hard look at other countries were rumours of abuse have surfaces. But, the situations seems to be one of duck and cover.

Yet, these pompous assholes are attacking our industry as being bad for society.

From the Catholic Thing:

?It would be wonderful if a massive class-action suit could be brought by wives and children against the pornographers who made their money by addicting and warping their husbands and fathers. If massive multi-billion dollar damages have been procured from tobacco companies, why not from pornographers who also do demonstrable damage to our society? Where are those class-action attorneys when we really need them for something worthwhile??

Go figure..... They should look within and beware of the class-action attorneys.

According to Fox News.com on 2/16/2010:

"VATICAN CITY ? Pope Benedict XVI told Irish bishops at a special summit meeting Tuesday to be courageous in confronting the pedophile priest scandal that has rocked that Catholic nation's church, but took no action on victims' demands the Vatican take some responsibility."
