Flip UltraHD :::

Anybody got a Flip UltraHD? I just bought one. It's a beautiful camera but damn....it has no internal stabilization and almost impossible to hold it steady. I may have to send this thing back to Amazon

got one for my brother.

for $200, what do you expect? decent HD camcorder with stabilization and zoom will probably set you back $500 or so

Well for starters, I expect at least a camera that does not shake like a 90 year old granny with Parkinson's' Disease when I try to shoot footage with it. My iPhone shoots smoother video then this thing. If only it shot HD

Yes they do.

My mother has Kodak's version of a Mini HD camera and swears by it. The video quality is actually pretty nice.

i was looking at one of the 'pocket camcorders' to use at concerts and such. i think sanyos hd2000 is pretty hard to beat but its much more expensive. if anyone knows of good cheaper ones, im all ears.

Several of our models have and it's a great cam, esp for camgirl content. You can get a tripod for it but it does take practice to use it

I have one that I use to post candid videos under the Candid section of my site. I like it for candid purposes, since its whats selling now, so it already paid for itself. I really like it

Dean, I haven't seen the Flip camera. However, I purchased a Sanyo CG10(HD) for my brother at Christmas and it's very good. 1280x720p. 10Megapixel still etc.
http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-camc...?tag=mncol;lst

About the same price as the Flip.

The phone you buy 2 years from now will shoot 1080p. Some will have it sooner, but all smartphones will by this time.

I haven't seen this yet. It's a shame they made it without stabilization.

Under features it says - SteadyShot® image stabilization helps reduce blur caused by camera shake.

cool

jvc has one of these too, though it looks more like the kodak. 4x zoom, 8 megapixel pics and smaller than the kodak.
