Just watched Food Inc on Netflix

And it's pretty crazy how much shit we are eating. If you get a chance watch it. I watched King of Corn a year ago and that's a good flix too.

But what I really want to know is if you're a carton of hate, or a wedge of spite? ;)

I like watching the "all you can eat" contests. It's fun to see just how much they can eat.

Disturbing movie. Watching while eating McDonald's was a bad move. I thought this was gonna be light entertainment like Super Size Me.

I have a weird thing where about 2-3 times a year I crave their fries. I don't like anything else from there, just the fries.

Same goes for me. Currently is position #6 (this thread compelled me to move it from 26) in a queue of over 300 movies.

When you say 'pretty crazy how much shit we are eating' do you mean, actual shit?

Or metaphorical shit?

Yeah, I just watched it yesterday from Netflix. Another good one to watch that they suggested was Killer At Large...a documentary about obesity in America.

Seeing the sick cow being pushed by the forklift.....wow. Disturbing.
And seeing how many things you can make out of corn. Who knew?!
Like the narrator says in the movie, the way we eat has changed more in the last 50 years than the last 5,000.

we are really lucky in NoCal that we have so many healthy options for our food supply. Food Inc is really interesting- the intersection of politics and feeding the country is very well described.

Watch King Corn. This movie is less graphic. These two guys grow an acre in Iowa as part of the documentary.
