Adapt and Thrive - That One Program Unveils Custom Social Media Platform
February 16, 2010 ? The evolution continues for industry veteran 3xTom and http://www.thatoneprogram.com with the release of their custom built, social media platform. Beginning in March 2010 each paysite within That One Program will transform into a highly interactive, niche based social media network.
For over a year we have all heard the phrase "adapt or die" We decided it was time to " adapt and thrive " said 3xTom.
Social Media Importance: I don't believe it's possible to overstate the impact social media has had in online entertainment. It is now the #1 online activity. Strip the search engines out and every one of the top websites in the world are social media based.
What Makes It Unique: Simply using programs such as phpFox or Dolphin did not provide us the flexibility and structure we needed. We are not simply building mass social networks where profiles are king. We needed something where we could highlight our model(s) content and their respective niche's while at the same time seamlessly integrate the membership and other guest models. This is a fully integrated hybrid between a paysite, Wordpress, YouTube and Myspace or Facebook. It's dynamic, exciting, incorporates multiple live experiences and its social.
What we are most excited about are the options and opportunities the platform provides for our models, members, webmasters and the company. It allows us to explore multiple business models and prepare for the inevitable and continuous evolution in online entertainment.
We have been beta testing the system for months with members, webmasters and even social media analysts. The feedback has been tremendous. Although this will be a continual work in progress we are thrilled that it is at a point where we can begin launching sites on the system. We intend to launch roughly one network every 45 days beginning with Trisha Uptown's on or before March 5, 2010.
