There were a few nutbags set up all afternoon at the post office in Little Falls yesterday with signs saying things like "Impeach Obama!" It was hilarious. There's usually only one guy who is there once every week or 2, but this time they had a table and some materials. I would have grabbed some of their literature, but I didn't think I could do it without laughing at them.-uno

As a group the tea party is not fringe or racist.
Ive said this before. Being an anti-war libertarian leaning conservative I have been to both anti-war rallies and Tea Parties. I would in no way in hell bring my child to an anti-war rally. But I had no problem bringing them to a Tea Party.

Think about it, an organization dedicated to advancing the agenda of non-white people only,
whose very name, National Organization for the Advancement of Colored People, makes it by definition a racist organization, is calling another group racist
I know now I'll be called a racist for pointing out the irony, I actually wish the NAACP well.
But they really need get a clue.

Whether people want to admit it or not racism still is alive and well in this country. Just because a group is pro-black (or for that matter pro-white or pro-any ethnic group) doesn't make it racist. What would make it racists is if they purposely tried to foster hate or intolerance against another race or if they tried to deny one race something so that their race could have it. The NAACP helps to fight for equal rights for black people. They do not ask that whites or any other race give up their rights nor to they intentionally try to foster hatred against white people.
I will agree, though, if you were to start a group called the National Association For the Advancement of White People most people would assume it is racist.Comment
