So I met this girl last night, she was this really cute spanish girl, with the really cute glasses, betty page getup, yada yada. I tell her how she is the prettiest girl there, I tell her friend that I want to know if she is single and she says that she is. I go on for about 2-3 minutes telling her how pretty she is, we should hang out, typical shit... She takes my number, we are going to the same party tonight, superfab, right?
I see her tonight, we talk, seems like we have so much in common, yada yada. We talk for like 30 minutes about whatever, she is from San Fran, does go go dancing at a place here in town, yada yada. She seems to be cool with my traveling and my sites, me producing, etc, etc.
After about 1/2 hour of talking, she's like "wanna buy me a drink?" Of course, I am a gentleman, and I like her so... well, we go to the bar and she starts texting someone while I am getting her a drink. So I know immediately, she is not into getting to know each other better, because that just rude. Which sucks, but whatever, I play it off, I get her the drink, we talk a bit more, some drunk ass girl interrupts us and starts talking about how she got married, and I should take pics of her again. <model that I never booked and this was like 4 years ago, wtf?!? What great timing... huh. I am kindly removing her hands from around my waist, and this girl who I liked and bought the drink for, uses the moment to say she has to use the restroom, etc. I get free of this drunk girl, go to the bathroom as well, tell her we will meet back up.
I come out of the bathroom, looking for the girl and I see her with another dude, going to a dark little corner, then they start dancing together, and I am like, why the fuck did you take my number if you were not into hanging out?!? I was with 2 other girlfriends, maybe that intimidated her, but still. I introduced them both to her. If I had someone buy me a drink, I would not be texting people while she was buying it for me? So she is not even on my radar anymore. The upside, I guess is that the drink that I bought for her told me much more about "where she was at" than I could have otherwise found out. At least I tried. So um, yeah... Best 8 dollar drink I ever bought. Such is the game nowadays I guess. See ya later, your loss. blah.
