    5" of snow so far in coastal NC

    The first I have seen in 7" years. Yes, that is about how often it snows on the coast of NC.

              this year has been nuts weather wise, we had super hot summer (record highs) and now a warm winter (also record highs)

                      It looks so pretty over the sound. I'm going to take some pics here in a few mins.
                      I feel asleep at 10 last night and missed it all coming down Woke up and bam covered in snow.

                          We didn't get that much thank god as we had a bunch last week. I'm surprised you didn't get any of the other storm. The kids had no school all that week here.
