the same could be said for every person on this board including you - 99% of people working in porn could be doing something else, just not making as much money as they do in porn. not all that many people I know in porn are in it because they like it, far from it, it's the low investment, the working for yourself on your own hours, the potential high income that draws most people in porn to it and keeps them in it. Those are the 'issues'.
for a 40 year old webmaster who might be able to make 70K working for an employer or some small business of his own and can make a couple hundred grand and up in porn it's the same choice for a 21 year old female who can make up to 10 times what she might working as a server at Applebee's. But yes, there are still many girls getting into porn that have the stereotypical psychological/family/daddy issues that make them more likely to get into porn. |
