Black backgrounds annoy the shit out of me!

I have vision issues which make it very difficult for me to read anything on a black background and the absolute worst is red text on a black background.

A white background is the absolute best!

I would go with rounder font families. Like Verdana, Tahoma, or Arial / Narrow. And go with a off-white (like a white but slightly grey) like an f0f0f0.

White, silver maybe a light blue. Yellow & orange looks great. You can also get a nice feel from some reds, but dont be too over zealous with the red or it begins to hurt the eyes

I do not know where the green came from with Agent488... Unless it was a deep dark British Racing green, but then it would not really stand out.
