    Kids and Computers.. Wheres Mom and Dad?

    A real life "Hackers" -- minus Angelina Jolie, sadly -- is playing out in the Broward County School district, as it investigates whether students have been worming their way into its system to change grades.

    The Broward Teacher's Union yesterday demanded an investigation after they alleged that several students hacked into the APEX computer grading system after deciphering teacher passwords to change grades

      So maybe the old system by keeping the grades on a piece of paper would have been better...who knows.

              this happened when i was in high school my senior year (1998). our school decided to use an intranet to store grades rather than updating them on some software, then taking the discs to the main office. this also brought high speed internet to my school which was pretty fast at the time

              there was one accounting and keyboarding teaching that everyone in her classes got an F, but luckily someone caught it before it was printed on the report cards. the school claimed it was a glitch, but everyone knows what happened

                                  Perfectly said. If they have nothing to really teach these kids then let them get the hell out and stop taking our money. These dumb fucks have the authority to grade those better then they are and we wonder why the kids hate school.
