how the fuck do you sell advertising with openx

I haven't spent much time with it yet, but from what I have seen, it looks like you can have your own primary banners in place and then activate that spot for the openx marketplace and then it will show other banners from there based on the parameters you set under the the campaign parameters tab section of a campaign you have set up.

openx marketplace was adding 3 seconds to my pageload times - I just want to sell direct.

It's sucks when support is bad.
