how the fuck do you sell advertising with openx

This system is confusing the shit out of me.

I have my ads up and running, but opening the system up to advertisers is bewildering.

Openx.org is absolute horseshit for support, too.

Anyone got any tips or even willing to charge me to train me?

I haven't spent much time with it yet, but from what I have seen, it looks like you can have your own primary banners in place and then activate that spot for the openx marketplace and then it will show other banners from there based on the parameters you set under the the campaign parameters tab section of a campaign you have set up.

    Maximize Ad Revenue

Allow OpenX Market to show ads for this campaign if it beats the CPM below (RECOMMENDED)
    [x]

Earn more money with OpenX Market

OpenX Market enables advertisers to bid competitively to show their ads on your site. If the highest bidder exceeds your specified CPM, OpenX Market will serve the ad and pay you the higher revenue. Otherwise, your campaign's existing ad will be delivered.

We recommend that you specify a CPM that represents the effective CPM that you expect to get from your campaign.

Note that zones using the Image Tag type will not support OpenX Market.

Serve an ad from OpenX Market if it pays higher than this CPM $ USD

openx marketplace was adding 3 seconds to my pageload times - I just want to sell direct.

Got me curious so I went searching for myself, so far, I've found this plugin that's $100.
