Anybody Know How To Find Out Information For An Email Address?

I'm into a bit of a legal battle and I need to find out the information for a hotmail.com email address... I've searched google etc but can't seem to find anything.

Anybody know a way to get a name etc behind an email address?

A hotmail email might have an msn attached to it through which you can try to send them msn messages.

It might but I'm not really trying to talk to them... it's a suppose to be a busniess thats giving me a hotmail address but won't give me there phone number, business address, name etc!

a few tips for ya if it works great

a) run it thru spokeo.com, its a quick way to check most social networking sites and much more

b) try to send $1 to that email thru paypal, if its valid paypal will show you more info about the person you sent money too (business name and or person name and or contact number)

c) try searching google with just the first part of the email like if their email is [email protected] try searching for "mrjohndoe" etc, sometimes people may have the same email but with different providers

d) many PI's use trap lines, whereas you would tell the party something you know will make them call and once they dial in the 800 number youd get their phone number (now with trap cell phone type services it dont even have to be 800).

If they created the hotmail just for you etc you might be out of luck, but everything is worth a shot

Thanks Escort... I ran it thru spokeo.com and all it gives me is the town which I already knew, I don't mind paying the 14.95 if I knew I would get all the information... but I think this is all set up in a way so I won't find out who it is!

Also tryed paypal and the recipent doesn't have a paypal account

Google doesn't show me anything useful either

It's concerning a real estate issuse... this person is suppose to be from a company but won't give me a company name, his full name, phone number etc but wants to email him contracts through a hotmail address... he called me and gave me an email address to send the contracts to and the whole set up stinks!

I have no intention of doing that but I want to know who this is so I can deal with it the legal way!

I don't really understand either.

This guy e-mails you and calls you anonymously about doing a real estate transaction, why don't you simply deny the transaction and move on? It doesn't even really make sense. What are you trying to achieve? You want to find out who this person is and then do what?

It doesn't matter who originates the email. If he responds, you will have his ip. Post the headers here and anybody can point it out for you.
