Ladyhawke is Pretty Cool

Reminds me of old late 80's alt/goth/synthpop, which is fucking FAB!
They are New Zealand, although I think they live in London now.

I gave it a listen, liked the track but as much as I really dug the music more I didn't care that much for the vocals. Looked up some other tracks by her, listened to My Delerium and Paris is Burning, this one is far better than the other two.

Here's something though that you might dig if you haven't heard it already:

Peaches- Kick It feat. Iggy Pop

Great song and possibly one of the best music vids of all time

The start of "Magic" reminds me of Mr. Flagio, “Take a Chance”

http://www.splicetoday.com/music/italo-hammers

(first song)

Try some of the other songs too if you're feeling cheesy. :D

Wow, that I think was my first exposure to the world of Italo Disco!

I hear what you're saying, but to me my first thought was Human League:

I'd like to see more people move in this direction. I'm a huge new order fan so I dig it. Seems like almost a natrual progression w/ the 70's nostalgia startting to peter out, the way fashion has been going, stepping stones like Lady Gaga.
