Did a test signup on porn.com {pimproll} was declined on a clean never before used card for porn........for only 1.00...........ok then cascaded to secondary wts or something card was accepted YAY..........except no sale showed in my admin, none whatsoever.

next day tried a test join on an ARS site, 1.00 was declined, I must call my bank my bank it says to have it approved.

now how and the fuck are we gonna get join with things like this going on. This card was clean and I mean totally clean, never been used before for an adult transaction. Has anybody given any thought to maybe yeah the tubes hurt..........but our weekest link billing is really coming ot bite us in the ass here.............we onlyhave one chance to get these guys to join and we are from what I can see failing miserably. Ive had to change around my entire sponsor rotation because of this. We have to do better.

i only did three of them so far.....silvercash was perfect first try.........not sure if it has to do with nats or not..........but I plan to test more tomorrow.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some insane scrubbing going on right now because my sales for first part of Feb were awful, just starting to pick up a little now.

Crazy stuff, as January was really pretty good, right up to the very last day of the month. As soon as the month changed, sales instantly took a serious dive.

A bit better today, but it's going to take 3 great weeks to make up for the terrible way this month has started.

I'm in the same boat.. The difference between first week January and first week February is shocking.

I'm also dealing with late/short payments from sponsors which is always fun..

There may be other variables at work. Without knowing exactly...there is a chance that the email address you have has been banned? Have you ever done a chargeback on a site using that email address?
Another thing could be your IP address could be banned.

Couple of other things that could affect you too. Hell, your name itself could be on a banned list of a processor for something that happened in the past.

Anyway, that's all I can think that would cause a good card to not go through would be other variables such as those.

hdpays.com is an ARS site..........and I did have plenty of money on the card to go thru with the trans+rebill so it couldn't be a preauth thing..............never had a problem before. Though like i said this is first time with this card. But other cards, my name, email addy and the likes are fine at epoch and ccbill. So what coudl it be? Is this part of the total banking failure everyone talks about with processors cutting out adult now.

It has to be something associated with you...your name, email, ip, etc.

Just because it works at epoch or ccbill doesn't mean that you don't have a problem with Humboldt or any of the other banks that do merchant accounts for adult. Something is happening with them to cause you not to be accepted. Again, I don't know your history online...so you have to think back if you ever did a chargeback. Or if your machine has ever been infected and used as part of a ddos by malware and caused your ip address to be banned. Lots of little variables like that could be affecting you.

I'm just tossing out ideas. Probably the best thing to do would be to contact the billers that denied you and explain what you do for a living and ask them to look into it. Nobody makes money when the card doesn't go through, so they have a vested interest in figuring this out too.

Not making excuses for billers. Just trying to be helpful in looking for a reason that a good card would not be accepted. A biller makes their money by processing. They have ZERO profit from not accepting a card. Billers are in business to process. They would soon go out of business if they didn't process every card that can be processed.

But there are other reasons that cards don't go through. I'm merely suggesting that perhaps that could be what's happening. And that the original poster should contact the biller that declined the good card directly and work with them to discover the problem. Or contact the affiliate program and let them know the problem and have them talk to their biller. And there is no "average surfer" heh-heh

Everyone has a distinct and unique set of circumstances. I would say that if a guy who has never charged back, never had his ip banned, or anything else were to take a card and try to join one of those sites he would most likely join. But something is stopping the OP from doing that. Believe me, it isn't because the billing processor doesn't want to make money. But with a little investigation the OP might be able to get to the bottom of it.

Perhaps I could have phrased that in a better fashion, the thing is these issues have been brought up before. When you see posts about people trying 14 times before getting approved by the biller on try 15 it makes you wonder.

I've actually experienced that EXACT scenario...

14 denials, followed by an approval on the same surfer's 15th try.

Leaves you scratching your head for sure....

I'd like the oportunity to show you all exactly how his tests played out, but it is my policy not to educate a scammer on how they got caught. It's just not good business.

Anyways, our processing works quite well, in this case it functioned as it should have, we don't preocess transactions for known scammers.

there is always a reason a transaction does not go through, it doesn't matter if you have a brand new credit card, if you are a known scammer, your credit can be squeaky clean, and the transaction still will not go through. It also doesn't matter if it has been two years since you scammed us, we don't forget!

I can't speak for the other programs that this guy mentioned, but i assure you our processing is working perfectly fine.
