The Top 10 finishing cars have models made after them, our 7th place car model outsold the factory Red Vipers that came in 1 and 2 so I guess collectors liked the paint job. The paint job was designed by Peter Brock, a retired racecar driver and owner who now writes articles and takes photos for all the major car magazines. He knew what he was doing. Now what did you say about the paint job :) |

Fm,
real estate is usually always a safe bet. We have 2 rentals in town, and a nice one at the beach. Unlike stocks, if the market dies at least you still have something to show for it. happy holidays Todd |

I'm not sure I agree with your marketing but then again rotten.com, cj, etc, all do it. |

btw, I need to talk to you about a new video deal, can you call me on Monday? I just looked it up in the 2002 book of records - Bill Gates is now worth $60 billion - that's $30 billion less than 2 years ago. This means he lost 33% of his wealth in two years. Using this as a guage and comparing this to the Southern California real estate market that has increased anywhere from 20% to 40% depending upon the area - I'll bet Gates would loved to have cashed in some of his stock two years ago and purchased real estate in So Cal. If he had done so he's be worth over $100 billion, do the math. I'll stick with real estate in lieu of stocks or bank interest. |

Funny you say that about your Grandfather. My Grandfather made a lot of money in business, but when he retired and liquidated his real estate, it dwarfed any money he made in business. That was in the mid 70's when right after Real Estate soared in So. California. I'm sure Gates was pissed, but how mad can you be when you're still the richest person in the world? :) |

That is the truth, if you don't see yourself there, how can you get there? |

Ron,
Touche, how pissed could he of been?? Yeh my grandpa was pretty dang smart. Run a big toy / sales company in Seattle in the 60's-70's. When he cashed out, all he did was buy multiple houses on Lake Washington, cheap back then, but worth tens of millions now. His brother who came over with him from the Isle of Rhoades before hitler got there, had a son, and his family ran Longacres Race track in Seattle for many years, till it was sold a few years back. Anyways, the story he always told me is, I was running from the Killer Hitler, came to America with $50.00 and 1 suit, no education, and look what I did for myself and my family. I hope I can tell my grandkids that one day :)) well leave out the adult stuff till there 18. All I do now is make sure my kids are raised good democrats and liberal :)) peace |

Myself personally would take a Lamborghini Murcielago over a ferrari any day of the week, but as with all things, that is a personal preference. Anyways, I don't like kissing up to anyone, but you have set an example in this industry that I for one will try and follow and learn from. :thumbsup |

About Brad, he took a Lotus he owned personally and traded it in for a used Ferrari that he lleased thru his business for 5 years - IRS might be interested :) From what I hear, the Ferrari has already been in the shop twice. They're gorgeous cars but they aren't reliable, repairs expensive and time consuming and production made Ferraris don't perform. To top it off, who wants a Ferrari with an automatic transmission, that's why he traded in the Lotus, he can't drive stick shift. ..and it's not about kissing up, it's about learning what someone does and duplicating it yourself. If you're ashamed to do that, you're at a dead end. Keep up your dreams and reach for them :) |

Bradley is a fraud of the utmost girth.... |
Shit, why would you make payments on a Ferrari? A used one? An automatic? IF this is true, it makes no sense.
Plus, who in their right mind would purchase a ferrari if they can't afford it anyway. Why not just buy a 100k car and payoff some debts! But again, I do not know for a fact anything that fantasyman is saying is true. But IF it is, it's interesting. |

When my parents moved west, he sold his company, Reliable Luggage for millions to a guy named Sam Weiner. The company today is known as Samsonite. He then came out west, opened up a furniture manufacturing business and it became very big, mid to low end upholstered goods at great prices. He became a millionaire many times over in that business and then really cleaned up by liquidating his real estate holdings. Sound like very similiar stories :) |

ask folks close to him, you'll here the real story, he's built himself a house of cards which can all fall down any time. |

Makes me think of all the people who make 100k a year for a couple years then go and buy an 80k sportscar to 'look' rich but have no money in the bank and 50k in debts!
