Oscar nominations out in a few moments

I cant help being interested even though I know how fixed and lame it tends to be.

There are ten best film slots this year for the first time. Which, I am sure was done to make some space for a big blockbuster to slip into one or more of those slots next to the artsy films that people like me enjoy

For a change I actually like the list!

    Best Film:

    Avatar
    The Blind Side
    District 9
    An Education
    Hurt Locker
    Inglorious Bastards
    Precious
    A Serious Man
    Up
    Up In The Air

I am crossing my fingers for District 9 which was my fave film of the year.

Inglorious Bastards or A serious Man, I could go either way. A serious man was hilarious! Wish they would have thrown "The Lovely Bones" in for a best picture Nom.

Stanley Tucci got best supporting nom for The Lovely Bones. I think he is in with a chance for that win.
