    International wire fees

What is a reasonable wire fee for US sponsors to charge EU affiliates?

I just had my first payout notice from a US sponsor I joined not long ago and they charge me $75 which I find totally ridiculous.

To compare with other programs, what do you charge or get charged?

We charge what we get charged by our Bank. $20 I think. Now, if your bank charges you another fee, plus a fee to convert the currency, that's another story.

Get a US bank account with Internet banking service, have the sponsor transfer the money there. From that bank account, top uo your Paypal account and then withdraw to your bank account in home country.

Quite sure, they said THEY charged $75 so not even counting the 17 Euro costs my bank charges me

Don't you have to be a US citizen to be able to open up a US bank account?

You should ask the sponsor to make the bank charge the recipient. That way, the sponsor pays zero and you see the fees deducted from the transfer at your own bank.

It should be ~45 euro for an international wire, but YMMV depending on bank.

Lolz, same here, I raised my minimum to $500 last year on almost all programs to keep cost in line but if you think of it, its just a digital transaction which really does not have to cost that much

I pay $20 for incoming from Europe. 70 seems way high.

Our bank charges us $35 to process a wire. We waive the fee if the affiliate is being paid more than $750.

No, but you need to do it in person, with your passport as the identification. I've referred some friends to my bank and had been present when the accounts were open, and it didn't seem like it took any longer than when a regular account gets set up.
