Just finished installing Leopard Mac OS onto my Dell PC.

I installed Leopard Mac OS on my Dell PC and it runs like a champ! Being cheap, I didn't want to pay $3k for a pimped out Mac so I bought a Dell Studio XPS with 8gigs of Ram and a monster video card on Dell outlet for $900. I formatted the drive and installed a Mac OS. So now it's a Dell that acts like a Mac. It freaks people out when I power it on. I just tell them that I gutted the PC and used the case to build a Mac. Of course their first question is; what did you do with the old parts?

I have a Mac desktop and a Hackintosh Desktop.

They are both hidden from view and you cannot tell the difference when using them.

Both my netbooks run OSX too.

    Spend you some brain.

Did it work right out of the box? Looking for another Mac and a Hackintosh has been on the top of my list. I heard good things about the Dell 10v mini being a pretty easy install. Did you use iDeneb or something else?

I have a Mini 10v. It installs just as if you installed it on a Mac.

You run a special boot disc, do the install and then run a few little apps to change some things and you're good to go. Less than 1 hour, start to finish with a retail Snow Leopard install disc.

I used iDeneb and it worked great right out of the box with my Studio XPS.

            LOL @ Godsmack.

Ok, scratch that...it's not clean. Yet.

My Blu-ray player isn't working and my wireless card isn't recognized. I'm sure those are easy fixes but I never used my Blu-ray player in my desktops and I'm always hardwired into a network. I'll probably just leave them alone for now.

ESP must be kicking in here, I have been researching doing exactly this for days!!!

What is the special boot disk candyflip? Where can I get it? What about your wireless? I have never found anyone that has actually got it working, yet.
