Does Anyone Else Have Alot Of Trouble Using Adium For Mac?
I started using it a few months back when i got my new mac (i use it for my icq).
Man the guys from work and I have had nothing but issues with it? Missing messages, not showing online and who knows what else? I am seriously considering installing ICQ because Adium is such a pain in the ass. Anyone else having these issues? |

I use it on my macs for few years and never had probs with it... Way better than ICQ software imho

I know the guys that put out Digsby, which is a great little app. That might work for you if Adium isn't.

Never had a problem with Adium. DH, I think we got our macs about the same time, what did you get for a system? Maybe that has something to do with it.

I also have problems with Adium.. it can't receive messages when i am offline..very annoying. New version didnt seem to solve it either

It's been working fine for me. One thing I wish I could do with the program is have the chat history display in a big text file like Trillian does. Easier to search for things that way.

Yes, Adium had this problem BUT if you download the latest beta, 1.4b17, you get all of your offline messages and it's easy to block spammers for a life time.. worth it.
