When Minnesota is -10 or lower, you have to go a long ways to find heat above about 50.
Deep Texas or down into Florida or the other side of the Rockies to not feel it.

The real question is do you have a good humidifier? You can't get the old air driven through a cold water mesh, wrapped over a cylinder, that rotates through a reservoir, anymore. Just those crappy steam ones.
Well maybe you can still get the old style but not at anything named *mart. But, the steam ones don't cut it. No reservior really and inefficient with crappy thermostats. This one I picked up holds 6 gallons which will do 1000 sq feet for 3 days going fairly heavily.
But they really help living in climates around zero. You can lower the thermostat a good degree to degree and a half with minimum electricity usage.
Mine is a McGraw Edison built in the 50's and going strong. Worth it to invest $100 to $200 to get a decent cold water air driven one. Will pay for itself in heating bills saved in no time.
